What Is Track & Field?
Track & Field is one of the world’s oldest and most diverse sports. With more than 45 official events, it offers something for every athlete. One of its greatest strengths is its incredible variety—you can watch dozens of different events unfold during a single competition, all within the same stadium.
From explosive 100m, 200m, and 400m sprints to middle- and long-distance races, relays, hurdles, steeplechase, and the marathon. From spectacular jumps like the Long Jump, High Jump, Triple Jump, and Pole Vault to powerful throwing events including the Shot Put, Discus, Javelin, and Hammer Throw—and these are just some of the many disciplines that make Track & Field one of the most exciting sports in the world.
Every event develops different athletic abilities, giving each child the opportunity to discover where their natural talents shine.
Track & Field builds speed, strength, endurance, coordination, balance, agility, confidence, and discipline—the foundation for success in almost every sport.
Find Your Path
Every athlete has different goals. Whether your child wants to discover Track & Field, follows a homeschool program, or needs additional training for another sport, Moon Owl offers a path designed to support their development.

Our Mission
Our mission goes beyond coaching young athletes. We are working to build a stronger, healthier community where every child has the opportunity to grow through sport—regardless of their background or financial circumstances.
Building More Than a Track & Field Club
Our long-term vision is to create a year-round indoor Track & Field center in Rockland County that serves children, families, schools, homeschool communities, and local organizations. It will be a place where young athletes can train, compete, and thrive throughout the year. This vision reflects the ideas Olga Lapina shared in her interview with TechBullion about expanding access to athletics and creating lasting sports infrastructure for the community.
At Moon Owl, we believe sport has the power to change lives.
“A facility is not a luxury. It is a tool for health, development, equal access, and a strong community.”
“Talent should not depend on a family’s income, a child’s age, or how conveniently they fit into the system.”
Be Part of Our Mission
Whether you’d like to support our programs, help build future facilities, or simply believe every child deserves access to athletics, we’d love to have you with us.
